The Hillsborough County Conservation District is a non-government entity that works in partnership with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to help land owners and users in Hillsborough County manage their soil, water, forest, and other natural resources. We serve residents, town officials, educators, members of non-profit organizations, and others in the 31 towns in Hillsborough County.

USDA NRCS announces application cut-off deadline for financial assistance programs
If you are interested in protecting, conserving, or restoring the natural resources on your property through technical or financial assistance, contact the Milford Field Office to begin the conservation planning process.
Once an NRCS Conservation plan is developed, you can work with NRCS to determine which programs would best suit your needs. Applications for NRCS programs and intiatives may be submitted year-round however, the next application cut-off date is March 8th for EQIP on-farm energy, seasonal high tunnels, or organic practices. April 1st for WHIP New England Cottontail practices. In order to be considered, landowners/operators must submit a complete application packet including eligibility paperwork by the March 8th or April 1st cut-off date.
