Workshops
The Hillsborough County Conservation District offers various educational opportunities for County residents, natural resource professionals, agriculture and forestry producers, non-profit and conservation organizations, municipalities, teachers and more throughout the year. Events are organized in response to the current natural resource needs and topics of immediate interest. From sessions on Manure Management to How to Keep Local Farms, we are sure to hold something that would be of interest to you. If there is a topic you would like to know more about, please contact the office.
In addition to the workshops HCCD holds, another important role is to offer yearly USDA Farm Bill incentive program informational sessions. Through our partnership with USDA NRCS, HCCD is able to help bring together the local farmers and foresters to hear more about the financial assistance programs available to them that can assist with solving resource concerns on their property to better the land.
